Wow what a ride the last three or four weeks have been! When I was first cast in Twilight I had not even heard of the series let alone read them so I had no idea just how big the hype surrounding the movie was gonna be. I got my first taste of the madness back during the Hot Topic mall tour that I did with Edi and Rachelle. We'd experience first hand at our signings then we would hear stories from the ones Rob was doing and well sometime things could get pretty scary to say the least. I know I used to joke that sometimes I'd want to yell that my name is Taylor not Jacob because so many fans even now come up and will call me Jacob.

Then several weeks ago at the premier was the pure definition of pandemonium. I'd been to a couple of movie premiers (Shark Boy and Lava Girl and Cheaper by the Dozen 2 anyone?) but they didn't even compare to this one. At the shark boy premier I was a 13 year old unknown that had just gotten my big break in the form of that movie. With the second movie I was more known but i was having "Shark Boy" screamed at me instead of my actual name. When Emily and I stepped out of the limo at the Twilight premier though I had my name being screamed at me from a million different directions. That was something I will never forget as long as I live.

This time last weekend I was in Australia with Nikki and Edi doing a convention there and various other screenings and things that were going on in conjunction with the movie premiering there. That was a lot of fun even though I wish I would have had a little free time to explore and see more of Sydney and Melbourne than just the inside of the theater where the stuff was being held. I tell you though Nikki is EVIL for telling the audience about Edi and I singing and getting to help her get us to serenade her. Now there's videos of it up on youtube for all the world to see and I'm turning red just thinking about it.

This past week though some blows have been dealt to the Twilight family. The first being Catherine Harwicke who directed the first movie was fired and won't be doing the second one. That's really just crazy if you ask me and that lead to the second blow being dealt.. You see Catherine was one of the biggest supporter in keeping me on as Jacob for all of the movies despite the changes he goes through starting in New Moon. With her gone there is now talk of my getting replaced with Michael Copon for the remaining movies which REALLY sucks. The fans are none too happy about this latest stuff either and really I can't blame them to be honest. In my honest opinion I think Michael would be better suited for the role of Sam Uley than he is for Jacob.

OK I've rambled on enough so I'm gonna end this here and go to bed
